BIO
Originally from the UK, Pete planted himself in the Canadian scene at a young age, Organizing and DJing events led to a few of Calgary’s long running club residencies. He made the natural move to production in early 2000s and with more than 20 years experience behind him, continues to tour the North American festival circuit during summer and studio work during the long Canadian winters making music under his name as well as his house / garage alter ego ‘Bungalow’ and harder breakbeat styles under the name 'Chop Xtra'.
Most recently he founded a record label in 2021, Wildfire Recordings, as a sister label to UK Breakbeat powerhouse Diesel Recordings that releases new music from artists around the world every second Friday and broadcasts a monthly radio show on Cutter’s Choice Radio (UK).
In 2023 I was humbled to win a YYCMA music award for 'EDM Recording of the Year' for a house track I wrote under my Bungalow alter ego called 'Just Dance'. Check it out with the link below.
